Thank you for visiting !
I want to share my course seeking audio nirvana with you.
My DIY effort is a journey of many tribulations, but being able finally to enjoy the good sound of my gear did repay back all the efforts and challenge.
I am not a EE by profession or education, I don't claim to be a technical expert and I don't have unlimited funds either , so all were a brick-a-brack collection .
The vacuum tube had now been mostly abandoned in favor of the transistor. In fact, the only newly made audio components based on vacuum-tube technology you could buy were more of guitar amplifiers. Glowing bottles were embarrassing reminders to the engineering community and public of just how "primitive" electronics technology had been in the past
For me , ..vintage tube-audio has always been about classic look of glowing glass and stunning sound from a bygone age - unequalled by transistor-technology..
I hope you enjoy the site, Thanks .

The "common habit" of anonymity on discussion forums is sad I think. If you cannot sign your letters, don't write them. If you have questions or comments, please state your name and the country you live in. Feel sure , I need your response to make this homepage better. I have a lot of mails and answering takes time and please do not feel neglected if my reply is short or delayed. I try to respond soonest.

01 January 2012 MY JUNK-SECRETS
Starting this year , I wanted to "diversify" my DIY efforts OUTSIDE the HiFi hobby-stream , sharing with those who love all things antique, vintage, reclaimed, re-purposed and salvaged into something useful ....
Feel free to visit my blog here-under , we may be able to share something... for a greener earth to live in..
These pages deal with high voltages.
Contact with these voltages can cause injury and/ or death
both to you and what you land on after being shocked.
BE ALERT IN EVERY STEP , ACCIDENTS ARE ALWAYS AROUND THE CORNER !
You will need to have a relatively good knowledge in the area of high voltage electronics since the devices displayed / discussed features lethal high voltage .
Currents of more than 20mA can be deadly! Not only touching may pose danger, at 300V or more a misguided approach is enough to make a spark accidentally arc from the device to nearest ground which may be yourself. Particularly dangerous are the direct and alternating currents with low frequency, for example the 50Hz frequency !
I do not take any responsibility for future injury or death of anybody building the project or guarantee it´s function.
